The Batizado will be held in the Alfred Lerner Hall at Columbia University, located on the corner of 115th and Broadway - the big glass building. Directions
Special guest from Brazil,Mestre Boa Gente, will be teaching a self defense course against weapons.

Admission is $10.00, $25.00 to play in the roda (t-shirt included) and $50.00 to attend the workshop.

Guerreiros Fundraising party will be held at the galapagos art space
Entrance fee is $10.00 and you must be at least 21 to get in. Doors open at 7pm, show should start around 8pm with music, capoeira and firedancing. Proceeds will go to help pay for the Guerreiro's batizado costs.
